Mark Hamill Reveals He Had A Secret Cameo In The Mandalorian And Many Other Star Wars Projects

It turns out that Mark Hamill has appeared in more Star Wars films and TV shows than we might have known. It was recently confirmed that Hamill had an unannounced voice cameo in The Mandalorian as the robot bartender EV-9D9, but his list of vocal cameos goes much further.

Hamill said on Twitter that he has, in fact, performed a voice or acting role in every Star Wars movie except the prequels. He had secret voice roles in the spin-offs Rogue One and Solo, as well The Force Awakens. Hamill personally thanked Skywalker Sound editor Matthew Wood for helping him appear in more Star Wars projects than fans might have guessed.

But which character did Hamill voice in The Force Awakens? Hamill wouldn’t say, but he did confirm it’s a part played by “Patrick Williams,” which is the pseudonym that he uses for his uncredited roles. “Patrick Williams” also voiced the alien Boolio in The Rise of Skywalker.

In addition to his on-screen acting talents, Hamill is a prolific and extremely talented voice actor, so it’s no surprise that he was able to have cameos in all these movies without fans noticing.

Next up for Star Wars is Season 2 of The Mandalorian, which arrives on Disney Plus in October. In other news, Disney has canceled this August’s Star Wars Celebration, and the company also won’t hold a show in 2021 either.
