Skyrim: How To Harvest Creep Clusters

[ad_1]

Creep Clusters are a useful potion ingredient in Skyrim that can be grown in a garden or found in the wild, most abundantly in the South of Windhelm.

In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, players will want to find Creep Clusters, an ingredient used in Alchemy Labs to create beneficial potions. Creep Clusters have a reddish-brown and twisted root-like appearance, and they can be found in various locations throughout the game. While all Creep Clusters serve the same functions, the Creep Clusters found on Solstheim have a yellow appearance instead of the usual reddish-brown, but they will still look the same in the player’s inventory.

In addition to finding Creep Clusters in the wild in Skyrim, players can plant them in their own garden or greenhouse. When planted in a garden, Creep Clusters can be difficult to harvest. Players should crouch down and aim slightly above the soil to pluck them. Additionally, players may have to try to harvest them from different angles as the prompt to harvest does not appear as readily for Creep Clusters as it does for other plants in the garden.

Once harvested, Creep Clusters can be used for various effects, including Restore Magicka, Damage Stamina Regen, Fortify Carry Weight, and Weakness to Magic. While Restore Magicka spells will replenish the Dragonborn’s magic, Damage Stamina Regen will damage its target’s stamina regeneration. Fortify Carry Weight will increase the maximum amount of weight its target can carry, and Weakness to Magic will increase its vulnerability to magic. The ideal ingredient matches for making potions in Skyrim with Creep Clusters are Dwarven Oil, Giant’s Toe, Scaly Pholiota, and Taproot.

Where To Find Creep Clusters in Skyrim

Players seeking Creep Clusters should start in the volcanic region to the South of Windhelm, where the ingredient is the most abundant. Players should look for the root to be growing on or near rocks. Specifically, players may have luck finding Creep Clusters near the road heading South from Windhelm and around the Riverside Shack. Some may be found scattered across the ground near Kynesgrove, to the South of Windhelm. Creep Clusters have also been spotted South of Bonestrewn Crest in the wet areas and around the Atronach Stone in Skyrim. The final location in this volcanic region to find Creep Clusters is just East of the Steamcrag Camp.

Outside of the volcanic region of Windhelm, players may find Creep Clusters in the wild of Solstheim, particularly in the ashen areas. In addition, a single Creep Cluster is located in Arcadia’s Cauldron in Whiterun. This is most likely the first harvestable Creep Cluster players will find in the game. Additionally, a single Creep Cluster can be spotted on a desk in Wuunferth’s Quarters in the Palace of the Kings, upstairs in Windhelm. Finally, players may find them in the Arch-Mage’s Quarters in the College of Winterhold.

Of note, while Creep Clusters are useful ingredients that only grow in some areas, each individual cluster only has a value of one gold. Accordingly, if players have an abundance of them, they should use them in potions to increase their Alchemy skill in Skyrim. However, because of their low value, players likely will not want to sell Creep Clusters on their own.
